I am a married father of 2 that is blessed in both those areas. My wife Sherri has been my constant companion now for 30 yrs and has, with gods blessing, brought a beautiful daughter and son to our lives. Over the years Sherri has allowed her man to chase his dreams and provide him with the support that allows failure as well as success. After a few business pursuits in which my health became the cost of the success or failure, it brought me to a new pursuit. Wellness! Within the span of 3 yrs I lost my business due to failing health, lost both my parents (1yr apart aged 57 & 59) and Sherri being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I also noticed that many of my relatives were falling to the same fate. It made little sense to me that a man that had played Junior and Senior Hockey, also playing other sports, should be breaking down at the age of 35. Players played past their 40s in the National Hockey League. It couldn’t be just luck!
The awakening!!!
I began the study of the human body and how it heals itself. I was aware of how to fuel the body as a hockey coach, but how does the immune system do its part that was the question. Was it genetics, predisposition or luck? No. It was something far more basic than all that. I discovered it was Diet!! That's right Diet!!! The very fuel we were putting in our body was falling far short of what it required to maintain maximum health. By adding certain foods and deleting certain foods we noticed a difference, but when i came up with a selection of vitamins and minerals, also adding herbs as supplementation my Arthritis began to heal and most extraordinarily my wife’s MS symptoms were Much improved. This was amazing considering her specialist wanted to put her on a drug that could possibly destroy her liver. We are aware of someone with MS diagnosed at the same time that went on that drug and is now in a wheelchair and yet my wife has had no further development of the disease.

Recently while talking with a parent of a child I coached in baseball she informed me Her son was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
